In the context of the international multidisciplinary summer school  "Sky Hill" organized in Romania by Foundation Archaeus, CARAVANAtelier  designed and realized this small Pavilion named " Immensity in a room". Sky Hill is a place you don´t easily forget once you visit. In a plateau, up to a hill inside the National park Cheile Nerei-Beușnița is located Marius´s house. All around only boundless fields, a crow of shifting mountains and above your head a sky sparkling of stars. Every year in this magic natural contest the Foundation Archaeus invites for workshops guests and students coming from different cultural fields. In the 2019 edition CARAVANAtelier was invited to organize a practical workshop to teach students how to build with straw-bales. The idea was to build a zero budjet pavilion who could fit into the landscape. Using only residual wood and picking up the straw directly from the near field, the group realized it in 4 days. " The place itself gave us the inspiration for the project. Anything was prefigured before our arrival to the summer school. Once there, it was immediately clear that the project should be an opportunity for visitors to stay, in the heart of “Sky Hill”,  in an under-covered and isolated “room into the landscape” from where to frame and  admire it" .
